Spam Musubi Rice BowlBy Jesse Tatum

A super quick and delicious rice bowl based on the spam musubi. Easy to make and delicious. Feel free to add more veggies or protein to hit whatever nutrition goals you want.

Treacle CookiesBy Micaela SearsGooey ginger cookies with crunchy sugar coating. The perfect warming cookie for wintertime. Was inspired to post this recipe from a conversation I had on a discord chat.
Sweet Potato, Cumin, and Honey Breakfast HashBy Jesse TatumNothing quite says fall like sweet potatoes and cozy blankets. This recipe has one of those but it's a good one. It mixed the savory flavors of onion and cumin with honey and sweet potato for a hearty and delicious breakfast.
Sweet Potato ChiliBy Micaela SearsThe great thing about chili is that you can really use whatever vegetables you have on hand. Jesse and I decided to throw in some sweet potato when we didn't have enough normal potatoes. So happy that we did because the results were amazing. Also if you want to make this dish without meat it is super easy to just add in more beans.
Homemade Granola with Fruit and NutsBy Jesse TatumI have always loved eating granola but I never realized how incredibly easy it is to make it on your own. When you eat as much granola and yogurt as I do this is a great way to do it for cheaper! Looking for a yogurt recipe?
Multigrain Chai PancakesBy Jesse TatumA warming blend of chai inspired spices with multigrain flours tied together in the glory that is the pancake. This recipe is a sweet, yet not overly indulgent variation on multigrain pancakes. I enjoy them served with greek yogurt and granola on top. Everyone has their own preference on how they spice their chai, so feel free to mix it up!
Mango Ice CreamBy Micaela SearsThe first and only time I have made this ice cream my goal was to get these two very ripe mangos used up so they didn't go bad. Well that meant I had wayyy more pureed mango than I needed and so I just threw stuff in until it tasted good and I hoped that it would become ice cream. Thankfully it did! and it tastes AMAZING. Doing the full amount of this recipe will yield about 4 quarts of ice cream.
Red Cabbage, Date, and Feta SaladBy Micaela SearsThis is a super easy salad but it is also incredibly unique in its flavors. It is loosely based on SmittenKitchen's Date, Feta, and Red Cabbage recipe. This salad does last well in the fridge if you do not eat it all in one sitting. It might even be better the second day after its been sitting in the dressing. If you want it to be a little on the sweeter side you can do candied pecans. Just add a tablespoon of brown sugar to them and some cinnamon.
Cheddar Broccoli ChowderBy Micaela SearsI will never forget the first time Jesse and I made this dish. We were staying in a tiny house in Indianapolis. The induction stove inside would not work for us so we ended up using a camping stove to cook all our meals. We did not have most of the proper cooking utensils. It was raining and Jesse was set up outside to cook this soup. He used a grill cover to keep it from getting wet. It took wayyyy too long to make but boy was it worth it. Jesse and I normally prefer to use a smoked cheddar cheese in this chowder. We also do not always pay close attention to the quantities for the vegetables. This soup also freezes and reheats very well if you want to make a large batch to have for many meals to come.
